Please report Tide to Serious Fraud Office

Tide seems to be stealing and scamming hundreds of business customers out of their money. Closing accounts, freezing accounts and not returning funds. My account has been frozen 1 week now, and from reading reviews online it seems to be happening to hundreds of businesses who bank with Tide.co I have reported them to the: Financial conduct authority Financial Ombudsman Action Fraud Please everyone who is experience fraudulent activity from Tide.co please report to the Police/Action Fraud and open a case against them. This 'fake bank' is very very unsafe for business customers and hundreds of thousands of pounds have gone missing and never returned to customers. After conducting further research they also post fake reviews. Absolutely discusting organisation and the Police should investigate!!! Reviewed on: 22nd November 2022

Poor customer service and zero communication

I have spent nearly a month trying to contact and resolve an issue with Tide. Having sent over 10 emails and getting no response I would not encourage anyone to join , as when something goes wrong there is no way to get hold of anyone to help. Reviewed on: 15th November 2022

Very poor service

Would definitely not recommend tide banking to anyone! They asked me to prove 8 payments on my account which is fair however only giving me 3days to dig down my records to show proof, now owning a small business I am very busy and this was the least of my worries, because this information wasn't sent within the 3days they had froze my account no payments in no payments out!, I have now send all documents in and asked if they could review the email and unfreeze my account as this is essential to running my business. I had called tide business support multiple times for them to tell me they don't know anything about the case as it's not them dealing with it and it's another team I couldn't speak to anyone who could directly help me !! They have put on a freeze on my account for upto 30 business days untill they can confirm the information my question is why mail me giving me 3days to provide the information if it takes them 30 business days to review it!!! Will be closing my account and going with another provider do not bank with tide !! Reviewed on: 14th November 2022

AVOID! Stolen ours and other peoples money! Deleting customer comments off social media!

Appalling! Paused our business bank with no access to our money for weeks now. No reason for pause. Closed our account, no access to log in, no access to customer service. Disgusting - Refusing to return my Stolen money

DO NOT USE- Scammers - disgusting excuse for a bank. My business account has been fraudulently used, it took them DAYS to actually respond to questions i was asking, you cant talk to anyone on the phone - chats only which they take days to respond to. Then - THEY HAVE REFUSED TO RETURN MY MONEY - As they claim i gave a code to the hackers ( i didn't) then closed the chat immediately, so i cant even respond to their rejection of my case. Account closed without a reason

I had my account closed with 871 pounds without any reason then I waited for my money to be tranferred in my hsbc account as they asked for an alternative account. After 2 months I received a partial payment of 189 pounds from my money. I don't know where are the rest of my money as I can't acces Tide account anymore Reviewed on: 23rd September 2022

Disgusting “customer service” my account has been suspended for a week now! For no reason at all!! Provided all relevant information. No contact helpline I get the same ridiculous automated response like every review gets on here! I’m now having to contact the police to try and get this resolved. Seeing everyone else is having problems makes it very clear there is fraudulent activity. Some people have lost hundreds of thousands of pounds. The police or someone needs to do something about it!
