A refreshing take on banking

Communication from Triodos about how my money is used is clear and makes me feel like I’m part of something fair and thoughtful. I can be confident about them in so many ways

Obviously, they are technically competent and there are no doubts about the security of their systems, but more than that, their ethical stance means that they are significantly less likely to be involved in any of the mis-selling or customer abuse issues that have plagued British banking in recent years. Their stance on lending is also reassuring: they are also unlikely to invest in companies that are involved with stranded assets like coal & other fossil fuels. It makes good commercial sense to use Triodos, quite apart from the way investing in sustainable and planet-friendly projects leave you with a warm glow. Reviewed on: 14th February 2021
