It doesn't matter that this bank is online - you can speak to someone easily and quickly over the phone and I have never had any problems sending documents through the post on the rare occasion this has been needed. Transparent, ethical and simple

I love using Triodos - so much that I have a current account and a one-year ethical savings ISA. What's particularly nice about them is their transparency in terms of costs as part of their banking service as well as where investments go. It feels obvious, but it's very nice knowing that your bank is not funneling money into fossil fuel industry or arms industries for example.
