Best ethical bank in the UK and Europe

I've been Triodos client for many years now, first starting with savings, and as soon as they opened current accounts, I've immediately switched. They are the best for ethical banking, and for people who care. Reviewed on: 16th January 2024

Being elderly and not good online they are always on...

A great bank for you & for the future of the planet!

I'm very happy with Triodos since moving my current account to them a few years back. Their staff are always very helpful on the phone and it is great to know that your money is working for the good of others and the future of the planet, as well yourself. I do hope they bring in the option to pay cash in via Post Office branches and that the debit card will work with Google Pay etc at some point but these are very minor issues. Godd service and great ethics

The switch was very straightforward and the service to-date has been great. The app for online banking is easy to use and has only improved since we started using it. Encountered no problems - proud to be using and happy to be paying (a small amount) for an ethical bank, rather than settling for one that pays lip-service to ethics, or doesn't bother with it at all!
