An ethical bank it this age is a rare thing

Love their values and ethics.

I think they’re a little behind in terms of the range of online services they offer in the app but I bank with them because they’re one of the most ethical and sustainable banks available. So that’s a small price to pay. Reviewed on: 18th January 2023

Why such poor customer service

So many aspects of Triodos seem excellent from an ethical point of view but both my wife and I’d experience of attempting to join the bank was simply appalling. We had both just moved from the US and the paperwork hurdles were enormous but worse than that the effort to help from Triodos customer service simply was NOT there. I persevered and got an account but was left with deep reservation. After weeks of trying my wife (the greenest and most ethical person I know) was forced to give up and go elsewhere out of frustration and anxiety through the lack of personnel responsiveness and assistance.
