The Triodos Personal Current Account has a low monthly fee.

You can manage your account via an app and there’s a Bristol-based contact team if you need support. Triodos don’t offer an overdraft facility or immediate faster payments. You’ll get text message alerts to help you manage your money and online statement.

Triodos' mission is ahead of its time - supporting ethical causes and avoiding sources that harm people or the environment. It also is a fine communicator, sharing with its customers its activities and how they link to their overall mission. Honest, friendly and ethical

A bank we're so happy to have moved almost all our accounts to. Their online service is excellent, and on those odd occasions where we need to speak to someone this is easy, not obfuscated, and we get the help we need. The open modest charging for the account is the honest way to go rather than bury the charges in other indirect ways. Best of all our savings also help ethical businesses trying to do good. What really sets Triodos apart is the personal and attentive customer service, where you regularly speak to the same person multiple times and they actually know your file. This was a huge relief for me when I had just moved to the UK and I still had lots of documents that needed sorting out. Reviewed on: 23rd January 2021

Fantastic Ethical Bank

The majority of the large consumer banks have terrible ethics and fund projects and companies that are very negative for humanity and the world. Triodos' consumer banking savings and current account were easy to setup, manageable both via mobile app and website (probably via phone as well) and have a slick experience. Highly recommend them.
