Just joined but it was easy and everything looks good so far!

Everything feels very honest and transparent with Triodos. The mobile app is nice, a kind of hybrid between bigger bank apps and newer ones like Monzo. I might not be making money from interest on this current account but with the interest rates low everywhere at the moment anyway at least my money is doing some good. Reviewed on: 6th April 2021

Literally the only choice

Triodos is THE ethical bank. There literally is no other choice. They also have good customer service, simple and reliable online accounts and mobile app. Why anyone would choose to have their current account with any other bank is beyond my comprehension. Reviewed on: 31st March 2021

I am all in for Triodos

The fact that Triodos only invests in sustainable, ethical ventures makes me feel confident (and kind of great!) about putting my money in! TRIODOS: THE CLEAN, GREEN BANKING MACHINE

I switched to Triodos last year. It was without a doubt one of the best decisions I made. I never realised that my carbon/ ethical footprint extended to where I deposited my money. Other high street banks were using my money to invest in evil and archaic energy whilst Triodos not only invest in good things, but also local charities, businesses and startups in my area. Ethical banking for the every day

I spent a long time looking into how banks handled the money they had, who they invested in, and what they were doing to combat the climate crisis. With triodos I found a regular current account where I could be certain that my money was being used to invest in ecological and ethical industries. I find it very reassuring how upfront and transparent triodos are about their investments, and this is not something I have seen from other banks. The reason this isn’t seen from other banks is that their primary investments are in high profit areas that are less environmentally friendly, i.e. fossil fuels. Aside from their excellent investments, they also have fantastic customer service and offer me the same range of banking needs that I require for a standard current account user. Their online banking is secure and requires a personal separate device to confirm any larger transactions or standing orders. One area for improvement would be the introduction of Apple Pay with their cards. I think this would help entice more people to switch away from the big banks and join them. Otherwise I could not recommend higher and I constantly encourage my friends and family to switch to them. Reviewed on: 31st March 2021
