Ethical Banking: reducing world costs of managing money

it is ever more apparent that global monopolies rarely put the interests of the little person, the environment, peace, freedom and social justice at the heart of their business. A bank that applies ethical practices to the highest level (accepting that the notion of money is already tainted) makes me feel much more comfortable about using it. i know that my ability to earn and save has less impact on those around the world who do not have the same opportunities - and that matters to me. Triodos is the bank with the best record on ethical practices and is mindful of its potential to influence how we think about money and the world. What's not to like? Reviewed on: 4th March 2021

Amazing sustainable bank

I have been a Triodos Bank customer for over 3 years, and I couldn't be happier. It's mostly an online bank but they are really easy to reach over the phone if needed. They are very transparent on their activities and it feels really good that my money is used on financing sustainable projects or companies. I used to be a customer of a major British bank, but learning that they were financing the dirtiest oil & gas projects was the last straw for me, and I never looked back! Reviewed on: 4th March 2021

A fab, transparent bank that actually does good

My experience of having a current account with Triodos has been a good one. I left my old bank (with very good customer service) due to ethical considerations and am happy to report that I've found the customer service at Triodos, (on the few occasions that I've had to contact them), really very good. I like that they are transparent about the costs of running a current account and I love that they actually help people and the planet with the money that they're looking after and that it's possible to see where the money is being used. HOW ALL BANKS SHOULD OPERATE

The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, but I joined because of their ethos. They only invest with green and ethical companies. The future of our planet is upmost in their minds. Reviewed on: 4th March 2021

At last, a bank with values to trust

I know my money is being invested in resources that are not going to cause the collapse of our only world. Triodos are not only a bank with values but are incredibly professional, helpful and easy to use and communicate with. I wish I had banked with them sooner. At long last a place to put my money where it will not be actively harming others and hopefully instead may actively help people and planet

The changeover from Barclays to Triodos was seamless and to be with an ethical bank at last was a huge weight off my shoulders. I started with a savings account and so was delighted when they then opened up personal current accounts .
