Straightforward sustainability

I want to support positive sustainability and the Triodos current account fills the gap in having a current account which fulfils this. You want your current account to work and be accessible without having to think about it. The Triodos current account does that whilst giving confidence that they are a successful business who are not interested in maximising their return from your choice by cutting corners. What's not to love?

As an ethically aware and environmentally conscious person, I feel switching to Triodos is one of the bigger impact life changes I have made. There is a £3 charge which I dont notice even as a student. If I need to speak to someone I don't have to navigate a list of options or wait on hold and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. Their online banking system is secure and easy to use, and the weekly balance texts I've opted for really help me budget my money. All this and I am not funding fossil fuel companies, and my money is being used to support environmental or community initiatives. Initiatives that really make a difference to people's lives, rather than just creating profits for profit's sake. What's not to love? Reviewed on: 23rd December 2019

Ethical, reliable, friendly, responsive and transparent!

I joined Triodos a couple of years ago because I wanted an ethical bank. I have been delighted with the service and with the information about who they fund. I have recommended Triodos to all my family and friends and to the two charities of which I am a trustee. Reviewed on: 22nd December 2019

Ethical, socially responsible and great customer service

I have only had to contact Triodos twice but both times I have received excellent customer service, the app is great and I am happy to pay a small monthly fee to bank with an ethical bank that treats ALL it's customers fairly and puts my money to use in ethical and sustainable ventures. Real personal banking

Fair and square

I had an issue with my phone and phone app compatibility, Triodos were proactive with the fix and related communication and waived all charges for the time the app didn't work. I love what they do, I've never paid bank charges before but I don't mind paying Triodos charges as I know they support so many good causes, I'm so glad to know that my money won't be finding wars or unethical business. Great to put money in an ethical bank.

I wanted to move my money to a bank that aligned more closely with my values. The current account switching process was very easy and efficient. I find the mobile app very easy to use, and it helps me keep track of all of my transactions. Reviewed on: 20th December 2019

Only legitimate option for sustainability conscious customers

As soon as Triodos launched its current account just over 2 years ago I signed up, as I was fed up with my lifelong bank, Barclays, continuing to fund fracking. With climate change becoming ever more apparent and social inequality growing in the UK, investing with an ethical bank is one of the big ways we can influence positive change as consumers, and Triodos is up-front and open about who their money funds, from large companies to small start-ups and community projects all trying to build a better world. I have been very happy with the ease of use and security features linked to the current account, and the £3 monthly fee is worth it to know I am not causing harm with my money.
