Great to know my money is doing good

I hated the fact that I knew my previous bank was funding activities such as logging, that clashed with my personal values, but was hesitant about moving banks as I wanted to ensure I still had the kind of online service I was used to. Have been so pleased since moving to Triodos Personal Account, as the online banking service is very similar to what I was previously used to, so my day to day banking has not changed. Great sustainable banking service

I switched to Triodos Bank about a year ago from one of the major high street banks and I'm completely satisfied with their service and their commitment to sustainable banking business. Ethical banking

Having confidence that my money is being used ethically and is making a positive difference in supporting ethical and environmental causes is not only reassuring but also imperative if we are to tackle inequality in the world and address the complex issues surrounding climate change. Knowing that "free" banking is a myth, I am happy to pay a small monthly charge to facilitate my banking needs and at a practical level, switching to Triodos Bank was easy and efficient. I have really enjoyed having a current account with Triodos. I love that I can easily find out what they are investing in through their newsletters - it feels good to be with a bank who are proud of what they invest in and are investing for the good of society and the planet. This bank aligns with my values and helps me to feel that in my small way I am making a difference. The only reason I have taken a star off for recommending Triodos is that sometimes transactions won't go through with certain insignificant things e.g. some parking apps (random?), and they don't have physical branches so could perhaps be considered less accessible than other banks, for example for the older population who would prefer not to bank online. Overall, my experience has been great though and I find their online and mobile banking works well and is easy to use. Reviewed on: 17th January 2022

Unlike the majority of all other banks in the UK, Triodos holds the same values and ethical standards that we all should aspire to. I love how they're so transparent in what they invest in, and how they're committed to only investing in projects with an environmental and social focus. Reviewed on: 17th January 2022
