Triodos is the most ethical bank in Britain. OK that's not saying much, but there is complete transparency as to where the money invested with them goes. And it goes to the companies like Riverford organic farms that are run by people who care enough about the planet to work hard finding ways for people to live sustainably. i love my current accounts convenience, its straightforward & simple to use.

i am so pleased and happy with the service i get that i could not praise the Triodos bank enough. i am so glad they provide this current account & i wholeheartedly recommend them to all my family and friends. i look forward to when they also have a online savings account too. Triodos offer what the Co-op bank failed to provide.

Triodos provide friendly, helpful, accessible and secure banking with lucrative investment opportunities in eco-friendly development projects for the personal investor. Switching from the Co-op when it ceased to be a part of the Co-Operative group was rapid and trouble free and I cannot remember a single time since then when their service has been less than faultless. Excellently ethical and sustainable bank!

I've banked with Triodos for years and was one of the first to have a current account (complete with bank card made from corn starch! Brilliant!). I pay £3 per month for it (the price of one cappucino) and it's well worth it to know my money is being used ethically as Triodos only lend to projects with a positive impact; to know that, unlike other banks, Triodos is upfront about there being no such thing as 'free' banking, so payments will simply not be taken from my current account if they will take me into the red, and so I won't be overcharged for overdrawing,as happens with most other banks; and to know that I'm part of the new wave of sustainable and ethical banking, a new model for the greening of the economy and especially the financial sector.
