I am Italian that lived for many years in France. Moving around I had to change various banks and understand how they work. This year I though was important try to make a change and choose for the right bank, the one that is transparent and trustable. Here my choice. Reviewed on: 14th December 2019

At last, an ethical bank!

I have been thinking about opening up a Triodos bank account for a while now and so glad I did. The more I know about them the better I feel about my money, I have always been concerned about where my money is used when invested by banks but with Triodos I know it will be used wisely and ethically. Clear, friendly, ethical

Triodos is a great bank. I was a little worried that they don't have any branches but their customer service is great and I can't see any problems in the future. It's good to know that my money isn't being used for causing death of people or degrading natural habitats. I feel that the idea of what your bank does with your money is separate to you doesn't stand up. Triodos is actually one of the few things I recommend my friends to get. Triodos is a very efficiently run bank, they charge transparently and there is always a friendly (real) person at the end of the phone. It is also really encouraging that they invest is sustainable and positive projects for the future. Reviewed on: 14th December 2019

I have been banking with Triodos in the Netherlands as well and when they opened a bank in the UK I was very happy. To be able to keep my money at a bank that is sustainable and helps sustainable businesses and will not invest in harmful companies is extremely important for me. It's time, we as the community of this planet, recognise our complicity in the state of things. Turning away from the polluters of the physical ecological environment's and the hearts and minds of the people's that inhabit them; calling out and to task the banks and financiers who bankroll and facilitate their destruction. Good personal telephonic experience!

The fact that all my banking problems can be talked through and sorted out over the telephone and the internet goes a very long way to satisfy my historical need to have a "physical" bank to visit. That says it all. Reviewed on: 14th December 2019
