Don't always believe

Money tooken for house valuation and it is our fault that we didn't wait for the answer first. But customer advisor was saying "no need to woried all should be okay, all looks good". Declined because of that there is gaps for last 4 years working (it is not true). Money for deposit are from student finance (Not true as well). Not even given a chance to prove that that it is not true. "You are in risk beacuse of Covid-19". So why giving a hope.. I do not recommended Reviewed on: 16th July 2020

Best mortgage lender

We had used a few local lenders and were fed up with the service and cost when I saw the Vernon advertised in the Radio Times (I believe). We never looked back. Great service and good value. Reviewed on: 20th November 2019

Very Helpfull

We are both of state pension age. Our mortgage is interest only and was nearing its end. Our lender at the time was not interested in extending our mortgage. Vernon were approached and with a few checks offered us a mortgage. I have no hesitation in recommending them. Reviewed on: 20th November 2019

Surperb customer service!

From my first interactions with the Vernon their staff were perfect examples of how customer service should be. Individual and sincere - nothing was too much trouble and the problems inevitably encountered were dealt with efficiently and clearly by people who genuinely care about their customers. Great family feel for specialist mortgage

We have used Vernon for a specialist self build mortgage and found them to be very helpful. It’s great to have a bank where you can call up and speak to person in the office and not a generic call centre in another country. Reviewed on: 20th November 2019

Helpful, friendly, responsive

The team at Vernon are always quick to respond, and are very helpful. They are happy to look at properties that are a bit unusual, so you are not faced with a "computer says no" scenario.
