Impossibly difficult to set up online, snotty call centre staff, better service out there

I have several 0% cards and this is the only one which I have still (5 months0 not been able to get onlien to service. Jumping through hoops does not even begin to cover it. So I am forced to call their call centre staff, spoke to some snotty kid who was downright dismissive. Would not tell me what date my DD comes out "it varies", yeah but roughly when in the month? "it varies", how many months left on my 0% deal "i don't know - it ends in december 2018" - happy to let me work that out while on the phone to him), nor how much i would need to pay per month to pay off card by time 0% deal ends - "I am not a financial advisor" Yeah - but you have a calculator tho pal don't you. Never have these problems or snootiness with Lloyds, Tesco, Santander or Barclaycard. Needless to say I am paying this one off first and will not be coming back to Virgin cards. I donlt knwo who their call centre staff think they are but i really don't need or expect to be talked down to by someone dealing with my finances which ultimately pay their wages! This bank has one of the worst service out there.

This bank has one of the worst service out there. We have banked with them for over 65 years. The credit card cancels transactions without notification. Things like holiday insurance or taxis to the airport the night before you leave. Then deny it and cant find phones calls you have made to them. Yet acknowledge that you did make a call but mysteriously cant find it. Don't Use them. Reviewed on: 21st August 2025

Excellent card service on lost account

I found out about a dormant account that was discontinued more than 10 years ago. It had a balance due to me on the card. I had no card details available other than whatvwas avail le on my credit report. I made a written request, and a agent called me. After a few security questions, he promised to transfer the amount into my current account. Thie money was deposited on the same day. Well done Reviewed on: 12th June 2025
