Great but check renewal

Never claimed but customer service have always been helpful and friendly. Don’t like the fact the renewal price it so high and they then beat it but it’s the same with all companies. Reviewed on: 14th August 2022

Incompetent and understaffed

Incompetent and lacking capacity to do the real work (managing insurance claims effectively) You should look at how insurers handle claims. In my case they have badly messed up 2 claims and the subsequent complaints. I think they have staff competency and capacity issues. It has been 1 year since these issues started and honestly Admiral can't seem to do anything right. Issues: - Fraudulent third party claim for over £4000 excess work unresolved. I have provided images of the third party car at the time of the incident showing none of the extensive damages claimed for were present on the car at the time but Admiral have done nothing. -Admiral extremely pressuring me with Copart to give them my car for scrap without explaining that I could retain the car. -Admiral applying the wrong category for write off. Then saying they have corrected when they haven't (which would have got me in trouble with the DVLA). I checked myself and found that they still had not put the correct category on. -Admiral never starting proceedings with third party insurer to recover excess (incident in February 2024). They like sending emails and saying they've done all they can. So you will be without your excess for months. - Admiral complaints team seem to be over burdened. They do not reply to emails or investigate concerns. If they do reply they will not Get your complaint in early so that you can take them to Ombudsman instead. -Admiral privacy team does not provide all phone calls as part of a subject access request. It will be the phone calls that you actually need (the ones where they pressured you or made mistakes) that they will not provide. This is illegal. My premium has increased and I am at least £600 down. Save your money and go to a competent insurer. Reviewed on: 12th December 2024

I had an accident that I had claimed with Admiral with compresive insurance they passed the case to a 3rd party company and they were useless as well then the 3rd party company decided to move the case back to admiral after more than a month... After I had the total lost and they promised £2000 they didn't even mention that they will take the deductions so I will get only about £800 this is shocking how they are working... One of the worst insurance company Which I get.

One of the worst insurance company Which I get. First of all if you repair in your pocket they don't mention any pitfall. I payed my damage Which wasn't my fault and Now the don't pay for me Back. My cost was nearly £200 and they wanna goug my eyes out with a £50 voucher. I'm sure after this all I'll change my insurance and take care with them!!!!! Reviewed on: 28th October 2024

Just rubbish. Promise on the courtesy car is a joke

Just rubbish 3 weeks passed after the incident. No courtesy car being arranged and engineer is too busy to review the case. Nothing can be progressed without the engineer start reviewing the case. Customer service are helpful so far, try to help sending chaser everyday but no other option can offered to speed up the process. This insurance company is rubbish. Pls avoid.
