Truly customer focused

I’ve been with one other car insurer but always find myself coming back to admiral. I’ve been with the sister companies aswell and all I can say is that they appear to be customer focused. I haven’t yet had to make a claim but I’m sure that the claim experience would match up to the current service I am receiving. What shocked me was when they made a pledge to reimburse everyone £25 - this shows that they are not choosing to profit on the amount of money saved due to COVID. They want to reward their customers for sticking to the guidelines (which clearly showed was being adhered to via the companies outgoings on claims) Reviewed on: 2nd August 2020

Renewal Price Matching Excellence

Easy to use and the price is better

Good but can be great

Price is good for the service. But two things that could be looked at, 1) the renewal price by default is higher but calling and talking to a representative drives it down, 2) I had an accident, not my fault and totally covered by the other persons insurance. I called Admiral just to let them know (which I later regretted). At the time of renewal, they factored this into my renewal price, so basically I did wrong by doing the right thing. Otherwise, the service is satisfactory. It would also be good if a representative can reach out and discuss before time. Reviewed on: 22nd August 2023

lack of transparency

Unfortunately many insurance providers require black boxes for all young drivers. The blackbox portal admiral provides is extremely opaque, only scoring by a simily face. Not to mention it may score you down for braking hard to avoid and accident. Reviewed on: 22nd August 2023
