Finally received some information concerning my pension after several attempts. It has disappeared incredible fast. What is this company up to? Gutted. What do I do now? Reviewed on: 13th September 2022

Absolutely shocking service

Trying to transfer a pension out since they have high fees and little choice. They are either completely incompetent or doing everything they can to stall the process. Long wait times to get through or they just advise emailing then disconnect. They then take weeks to respond to email. Very poor at advising on status. They couldn't do any worse if they tried. I would give 0 stars if there was such option

I have been trying to transfer my Aegon pension out to another provider for the last 8 months. So far so bad. The customer service team is completely unhelpful. Regardless if contacting them via phone or email, there is no way to get a coherent answer. Each month they reveal a new problem, new form which needs to be filled out, new issue to resolve. After 8 months of this I am beginning to feel like my pension is being held hostage by a group of incompetent Aegon employees. Stay away. Reviewed on: 8th July 2022

Poor investment

I can only go by my own experience, which is very poor . I worked for a company with an excellent pension provider but unfortunately the company sold the business to other owners and somehow my pension was handled by Aegon . Towards the end of my working life I watched the value go down by approximately 5 thousand so I cashed in before it all disappeared. At one time it went down 14 thousand so I phoned to enquire and they told me it was because I changed my retirement day on the web Reviewed on: 30th June 2022

How to loose money quickly.

My Aegon pension funds now in July 2022 are worth a lot less than in August 2020. What are the investment team doing? August 2020 fund value was 41,112 pounds stirling. July 2022 fund value 30,666 pounds sterling. I should have transferred the lot to a company who knows about investments. This team belongs in a circus. Reviewed on: 27th June 2022

appalling performance. Impossoble to contact

took four months to reply to my questions by which time they had taken £19K from my fund. Worked my socks off all through the pandemic to fund this and now just completely wasted. should be shut down for fraud. Reviewed on: 23rd June 2022

Low Risk Lifestyle Scheme 27%loss.

Have a lower risk „Lyfestyle Pension scheme since 6 years. Just between the end of 2020 till May this year 27% loss. I suspect fraud. Reviewed on: 22nd June 2022

SHIT

Had an investment for about 14 years now. It would be worth more if I had put it under my mattress. They do not care, they take money anyway. Reviewed on: 16th June 2022

Avoid

My pension was transferred to aegon in February 2022 and I have been trying to withdraw it filled out the forms tried calling then when they answer its a different person saying the same thing your money gone to payroll please allow 3_5 days for transaction my account closed on the 6 June 2022 and still waiting the stress is unbelievable it feels like I'm begging them for what belongs to me definitely feels like a scam Reviewed on: 16th June 2022

Worse customer service I have ever received

I have been trying since August 2021 to drawdown and still no further on . They never respond to emails, rarely answer the phone . I’ve made an official complaint over two months ago and still awaiting a response. They consistently send out the wrong forms or don’t bother sending them at all. Financial projections are appalling, seems almost fraudulent to me . They have caused me financial loss , stress , anxiety and illness due to lack of transparency, appalling customer service and no continuity of procedures. Complete disrespect and regard for their customers. Avoid at all costs and move your money ( if you can as it seems impossible to get your hands on YOUR money.) Incredibly poor service and very poor performance

High costs poor performance and when asked to move money to other accounts it takes months of threatening and no communication. I would not wish this pension on my worst enemy. Be very careful putting any money with this company! Reviewed on: 7th June 2022
