Don't Do It

Before you consider taking out insurance with these thieves....stop....put your debit card down. Don't believe their "animal friends" nicey nicey name/image...these guys will whatever they can to not pay you the money you're owed. My dog has been left lame and in pain for nearly 2 months while I've had two different claims denied. I've now just had to bite the bullet and pay for it myself. I've had insurance with them for 4 years and never claimed a penny. Then when I need them... guess what, they try to wriggle out of paying and couldn't care less about your pet. Best advice I can give you is to direct debit the money you would pay to them monthly into a savings account and further down the line if/when you need it you will have a pot of money to at least lessen the burden Reviewed on: 2nd March 2021

Outstanding

I have owned dogs all my life and had them insured with many different insurers. I can honestly say that Animal Friends is by far the best! I feel the coverage is good, the communication very easy and I feel they are genuinely committed to the welfare of animals. Always satisfied, never a hassle

I have been using Animal Friends for pet insurance for probably the best part of 20 years off and on. I have recommended them to family and friends because whenever I have needed to make a claim it is never a hassle. I have always been 100% satisfied with their assistance, support and attitude. Animal Friends were there when we needed them most

Animal Friends were there when we needed them most. Last Christmas, when my vet was closed for the festive season, my dog collapsed, one evening. I was very thankful for the benefit that Animal Friends offers, to connect up with a real vet, through their partners, Joii Pet Care. This was very quick, with little waiting. The vet was really great and looked at my dog through the screen to make an assessment and gave advice. I subsequently took my dog to the emergency vet, where he was seen. Thank you Animal Friends, I know that you are one of the only pet insurers who partner with vets who can provide this type of virtual service to pet owners. Easy to deal with

I’ve made a couple of claims over the years. First vet practice didn’t deal directly with AF, paper work was easy, my current vet practice does all the paperwork so even simpler. Paid out promptly both times. I understand premiums increase annually but they have increased quite a bit the last 2 years, still the peace of mind is worth it. Reviewed on: 5th August 2023

Great Reliable Insurers

I've been using Animal Friends for 4 1/2 years now. They have saved me thousands over the years. Never had any issues with paying out. Only 2 slight issues I have, but hasn't become a big problem. Simple claims process

Claim for ongoing skin condition paid quickly every month. Most competitive policy price and lovely staff. Would recommend Animal Friends without hesitation. This is the second pet we have insured with this company. Reviewed on: 5th August 2023
