Applied for a Credit Card and was denied. No explanation and no way to contact anyone at all to question it.

I have an excellent credit rating and applied for the card with the offer of £20 cashback. Shocked when application was denied with no reason given. Unable to contact anyone at Asda to ask the question why and the last person I spoke to bluntly said there is no way to speak to anyone or even email them. Reviewed on: 9th January 2023

Deeply Disappointed by Asda Money’s Response to Frau...

Deeply Disappointed by Asda Money’s Response to Fraud I recently became the victim of online fraud and promptly reported it to Asda Money, hoping they would step in to protect my finances. Shockingly, despite alerting them before the payment even cleared, they failed to intervene, allowing the transaction to go through unchecked. Their justification? Because the payment went to a company they categorized as an investment firm, they refused to take any responsibility or offer assistance. That’s not protection — that’s abandonment. Instead of helping, they threatened to close my account, compounding the stress of being defrauded. In the end, I settled the outstanding balance myself and closed my account voluntarily. But the damage was done — not just financially, but in trust. It felt like Asda Money stood with the fraudster, not with me, the customer they claim to serve. I would never recommend Asda Money to anyone. Their handling of fraud was dismissive and unforgiving, and I no longer trust them with money matters. FULL STOP. Reviewed on: 21st July 2025

Extremely Disappointed

I’m extremely disappointed with the service from Asda Credit Card. Despite always making full and timely payments, my card was suddenly placed under a “management review” without any explanation. There was no prior notification or clear reason provided. What’s worse, they blocked access to the app without informing me. I wasn’t even told how much was due, which seems like a deliberate move to apply interest charges unfairly. When I reached out to customer service, I received vague, unhelpful responses and no resolution or timeframe for when my app or card would be accessible again. This experience has been nothing short of frustrating and feels incredibly unfair. If I had the option, I would give them a -5 rating. Truly disappointed and would not recommend this card to anyone. Easy to use

They rip you off on rewards I think it depends how they feel sometimes they give you rewards on purchases sometimes they don't for example I spent £10 forgive me so many pence reward I'll spend 100 pounds and they give me exactly the same amount of money so scam I've raised this countless times of them and they were saying no it's correct.
