Good service

Someone needs a mental check up to go to Aviva

Aviva is cheap than some insurance companies and at the time of buying is a good company. But that is about it. Rest everything else is also cheap. If someone gets stuck with them over a small something they will give you the worst time. A friend of mine was harassed by some team in their company because of a claim. His claim was termed fraudulent. He was threatened legal action. His policy got cancelled. The cherry on the cake was when all his policies with them were cancelled one by one. He stupidly had put all his policies with them. This should be a learning to all. Never put all your policies with one company. It will be like all eggs in a single basket. He got some relief finally at Ombudsman. He came to know that most cases at Ombudsman against an insurance company is Aviva. While he admits he was not careful in giving facts, Aviva's incentive seeking staff blew the thing out of proportion. Just make a small mistake and they will hound you like rabid dogs. Many people on review sites are paid by insurance companies themselves. Insurance companies are not friends of anyone, least Aviva. Reviewed on: 13th March 2018

Good renewal price

Easy

Never had any problems with Aviva, really easy to call and discuss pricing with them on renewal, always feel like we get a good price when we receive the renewal and love the aviva advantages (Rugby tickets!) Reviewed on: 1st October 2017

Very comprehensive and flexible

Excellent Customer Service

Ive been with Aviva for 3 years now. Now and again there has been an issue with direct debit payments but their complaints team have always dealt with things quickly and efficiently. Speaking to customer servie with queries or to get policys renewed etc is always a breeze too. Top notch. Reviewed on: 1st October 2017

easy, good value with good customer service

I chose Aviva as they were a well known brand, and with good customer service, I had to claim when my car was broken into, the customer service was excellent, and my claim was settled within weeks. Husband trashed front of car

Incredibly straightforward to get the car repaired. Claimed online, chose local repairer, took car in, it got fixed, paid the excess, took car home. No fuss or drama. It will certainly make me consider Aviva again for inssurance. Very happy with the service. Reviewed on: 1st October 2017
