Claim not handled well

When you claim you learn how good a company they are or as in Aviva's case they could improve. They have no cover in place when you claim handler goes on holiday so your emails just go unanswered. Overall my claim was poorly handled Reviewed on: 13th September 2018

ONLINE TRANSPARANCY AND FEXIBILTY

I REALLY LIKE AVIVA'S WEBSITE WITH THE CAPABALITY TO CHECK OUT THE PREMIUM COSTS INSTANTLY WITH THE POSSIBILITY TO AMEND, ADD OR DEDUCT VARIOUS OPTIONS AVAILABLE, GIVING AN INSTANT PREMIUM QUOTE TO EITHER ACCEPT OR GO BACK AND LOOK AT WHAT THE PREMIUMS WOULD BE WITH CHANGES TO MY REQUIREMENTS. BRILLIANT AS WELL AS BEING VERY COMPETATIVE IN THE MARKET. I AM AWARE THAT SOME INSURANCE COMPANIES PENALISE ONE FOR A SPEEDING OFFENCE WHICH ONLY ATTRACTED THE CHOICE TO GO ON A SPEED AWARENESS COURSE. WHEN CONTACTING AVIVA, THEY ADVISED THERE WOULD BE NO INCREASE OF PREMIUM AS THEY FELT THAT AFTER BEING ON SUCH A COURSE IT CONTRIBUTED TO BEING A BETTER DRIVER. Reviewed on: 25th September 2017

Increase at renewal for no reason

I have been with Aviva for about 3 years and stayed with them because the amount they increased each year was negligible but this year they increased by a lot for no apparent reason so I reluctantly left them. Brill insurance

I've been driving for just over 2 years and as a new driver my car insurance is a pain to get as it costs so much. Aviva however offered me a great deal with a no claims bonus that suited me, who is a full time student as well, very well. With such a simple and efficient service anyone could arrange their insurance with Aviva! Not to mention the fair prices, maybe you will find cheaper quotes elsewhere however it's worth the extra penny to deal with a reputable and trustworthy company like Aviva. Drive on people! Fantastic my Aviva app!

My partner and I started insuring our car with Aviva in January and I have found them the best insurer I've used! The app is fantastic, very user friendly!
