After losing my job and being treated appallingly by my previous bank BofS stepped in when i was at my lowest and helped me regain some dignity. The Classic account is excellent and offers everything you would expect and has no fee. Reviewed on: 21st November 2019

They used to make a lot of mistakes when it was telephone banking and were never wrong. Since I moved to Internet Banking no mistakes but poor interest. Reviewed on: 21st November 2019

Bank of Scotland came in and helped me when no one would. I was struggling t get a bank account that didn't charge a fee after losing my bank account with RBS. I had finally gotten a job, after a long period of unemployment, but it hinged on my getting a bank account. They were helpful quick and above all so respectful and made sure I was treated with the respect all are due. I cant recommend them enough. Reviewed on: 16th April 2019

Hampered by Halifax

Bank of Scotland has not been the same since it's disastrous tie up with the Halifax. Maybe one day it will again be a bank Scotland can be proud of. Reviewed on: 9th February 2019

An Honest Bank

Banks in general are getting bad press, but only because they didn't put up a fight over PPI. Loads of people took it out and were not mis-sold but are allowed to claim it all back. Many benefitted from having it. Petrol companies and supermarkets get away with murder. Support your local Bank whoever they are. I am with Bank of Scotland and trust them completely. Honest staff doing a great job. I have never received anything but good advise, friendly service and not been mis -sold anything. Reviewed on: 4th February 2019

I set up a bank account with Bank of Scotland. It was so easy to do and very quick. The service inside the bank is also fantastic with friendly, knowledge able staff who look out for you and your money. Reviewed on: 29th December 2018
