Barclaycard Platinum can't be used with Google Pay?

As the title suggests, I'm more than a little disappointed that this credit card can only be used with Apple Pay and not Google Pay. And then to add to my woes I discover that the Contactless Mobile facility of the Barclaycard app will cease to function at the end of June '23! A credit card with fair charges and no heavy sell.

In comparison to other credit cards, we're pleased with the rates offered by Barclaycard. They do send us through special transfer offers by post and email each month but there's never any hard sell in the way that I have experienced with other companies. The also leave your credit limit alone, again unlike other companies that I have had increase it without notification. Not good financial sense. Reviewed on: 28th August 2015

Great balance transfer service

Initial balance transfer was a simple process, and I am very happy that the expiry of 0% interest rates is shown on every statement. Not all companies do this but i find it helpful to know when these types of offers end. Reviewed on: 27th August 2015

Nice to know someone is looking out for you.

Earlier this year received a call from Barclaycard fraud squad, they were querying some spending on my account. Two separate transactions had been made for airline tickets in the past 24 hours, I had not made these transactions. They suspended my card and arranged for a new one, forms were sent out for me to sign to declare I did not make the purchases. I am impressed that this was picked up on my account so quickly and dealt with in an efficient manner. Nice to know Barclaycard are looking out for their customers, Reviewed on: 27th August 2015

Good solid everyday credit card

I picked this card for my first credit card for no real reason except that my parents use this company, but by sheer luck, it turned out to be a very good bet. Their APR has stayed pretty low (9%) the whole time I've had this card, which has been several years. They happily change credit limit based on your requests if you are a good and regular customer who keeps up with payments. There are no scary sudden changes, communication is brilliant and the website is really helpful and easy to use. Also I'm a fan of the occasional offers they extend to regular customers as well as to try and attract new ones -- every so often you will get a balance transfer or money transfer offer. better than expected card offer for an unplanned purchase

We were offered a barclay card for financing a significant unplanned purchase. The approval process was quick, the lending was better than expected, and so far all of the contact we have had (mostly online) has been easy and painless. I would recommend this company, even though I had to experience with them or knowledge about them before September of 2014. I have been nothing but satisfied with this company to date. Innovative

I feel that Barclaycard push the boundaries with their innovative products. I really like the PayTag feature which means I can pay for purchases with a sticker on my phone...pretty cool stuff! Reviewed on: 21st February 2015

very helpful customer service team

Having got an incredibly good interest free period with Barclaycard, I joined their online site to manage my account. Being a bit ditsy a few day later I managed to lock myself out of my account for entering my info wrong too many times. After 20minutes on hold to their customer service team I decided to vent my anger in twitter. Within 5 minutes I had a reply and from An apologetic Barclaycard and a set time when they would call me. They called at the specified time and we're very polite, friendly and helpful. Very happy compared to the service I've had from other banks customer service team. Website is also very well designed.
