Brilliant service

Barclays have been nothing but amazing and very informative whilst buying my first property. Reviewed on: 3rd April 2023

Its a good bank for when you want to make sure all your money is safely stored, the branches are also extremely pleasent due to the helpful costumer service

Great app functionality

Easy to apply, easy to load identity documents, loads of functionality with the app, super quick, decent customer service. No complaints. Excellent main branches when I have visited. Quality bank. Reviewed on: 3rd April 2023

poor and getting worse

Been with Barclays for 40 years but finally had enough of poor service, poor rates and poor customer support. Branches have shut, savings rates dire and overall for a bank raking in billions it needs to up its game. I finally gave up for one of the very many better banks out there now. Not interested

Lost my company, earnings and went bankrupt last year due to covid. Try getting some help from Barclays but none came. Been with them for over 20 years and didn't have the decency to return my calls Reviewed on: 1st April 2023

Good but has room for improvement

Having been with Barclays for roughly 7 years, I've had a fair few issues between rejected payments and somewhat ineffective customer service, but as a bank account for general use it's not bad at all. The app and online banking are easy and intuitive. Staff are kind and helpful in person. Reviewed on: 31st March 2023

Unreliable

My partner has been with this bank for many years and has always had issues with the banking app. He is unable to even access his accounts on a weekly basis making it difficult to pay bills on time. I would not reccomend this bank to anyone who relies on mobile banking apps to manage their finances. Reviewed on: 31st March 2023

Can't use on google pay

The account works like any other Current Account but you can't link it to Google Pay which is very inconvenient in this day and age. I had to open a Revolut account and link them just so that I can use Google Pay Reviewed on: 30th March 2023
