Long queus only one branch in town

Very long queues in branch. Branch not located well for parking or ease of access however online and mobile banking works well. Reviewed on: 14th December 2015

Bank that do not like to engage with customers in person

Barclays do not want to deal with people in person anymore. They want you to do everything using their electronic machines in branch or via online banking. If you find a branch that does have counter staff, they're likely to only have one desk open. Reviewed on: 1st December 2015

Always impressed

I have never had any issues with Barclays, I find staff very helpful in branch, the Ibank App is superb and even allow me to look at my Barclaycard etc as well. Reviewed on: 24th November 2015

Simple Service But Not On The Phone

I find the Barclays online account easy to manage but the idea of having to get any help from the call centres is the downside, often don't listen to what you actually want and can leave you frustrated! Reviewed on: 23rd November 2015

Terrible call center

on using my card and it was declined the call center did not advise me my new card had been posted - I spent nearly ten pounds trying to sort the issue out before they realised what had happened. All I got was a sorry and wait until you card arrives. Reviewed on: 23rd November 2015

Simple, easy, quick.

Barclays bank account is simple, easy and fair. No charge per month, no usage fee and a relatively modern online banking system. They're located in the big Scottish cities, and activating online banking without one near is a simple matter of finding an ASDA. All in all, a pretty good deal. One single downside is the mobile app for Android, which is one that does not allow rooted devices to use it. While I can almost understand the security concerns, it's an outdated measure that discriminates against the customisation of mobile phones. A minor niggle, but an annoying one at that. Average bank

Easy to open a bank account, it does what it says on the tin no more. When you call their customer services it can be rather frustrating as they don't speak English that well. Also they don't give any perks. Reviewed on: 21st November 2015

Reliable and trustworthy service.

The only time I have ever had trouble is when I forgot my online banking details which shows how seriously they take their security. Reviewed on: 20th November 2015
