The staff in the branch are friendly and I find that my account is secure and I feel safe when banking online.

I have had a good experience with Barclays. If they think something is wrong with the account they will block your card but you get the phone call so there isn't much inconvienience. The security may be a bit high but I know this security will keep me safe when I am banking. Reviewed on: 9th January 2016

best bank in the uk

IT IS A VERY SAFE FROM SCAMS BANK WHICH GIVES A SPECIAL SECURITY SYSTEM TO KEEP AT HOME CALLED PINSENTRY WHICH CHANGES PINS DAILY SO NO ONE CAN HACK YOUR BANK ACCOUNT THE DEVICE IS VERY EASY TO USE AND SINCE ACCESSING MY ACCOUNT THIS WAY I HAVE NEVER BEEN ROBBED INTO MY ACCOUNT AGAIN AFTER SWITCHING FROM MY OTHER BANK LLYODS WHICH WAS A DESPAIR!IT ALSO ALLWED ME TO PERSONALIZE MY DEBIT CARD IMAGE FOR FREE WITH A NICE GIRLISH PATTERN, I CHOSE CATS AND GOT THIS VERY QUICKLY THROUGH THE POST WHICH GETS ME MANY COMPLIMENTS FOR IT WHEN PAYING IN SHOPS , THANXS SO MUCH BARCLAYS YOU ARE THE BEST! Very happy always banked with Barclays and always will.

Waste of time

As a long term customer over 20 years never offered any benefits at all other than a basic account no overdraft no nothing. After being a loyal customer I found my account closed with no reason given Reviewed on: 3rd January 2016

Barclays bank account

A simple straight forward bank (Current) account with no excessive charges. Ability to organise funds via mobile, PC and online. Aswell as personal and telephone facilities. Mobile app is excellent with fast (in most cases immediate) transfer of funds between banks and accounts. Reviewed on: 1st January 2016

High Quality Customer Service

When I visit my local branch, I receive a personal and efficient service. They always advice me how to use my money to it's full potential. When I visited with an important crisis once and needed to cancel my bank card they took sympathy and listened to my story and gave me a new card immediately. I have my graduate account with another bank and I did not receive the same personal service. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

Simple and straigh forward

Me and my fiancé decided to open up an account together, we chose Barclays because he was already with them and I had banked with them in the past. The process was very straight forward, and was made simpler by the fact I had banked with them before! Additions Account - Barclays Bank

I have a package account with Barclays that covers breakdown insurance with RAC. Phoned to see if this covers our trip to Brussels, as on the literature it says some European countries. Phoned correct number and asked the question, the operator did not know the answer and said he would pass me on to his supervisor. I was then cut-off, not very impressed. Honestly? I usually like Barclays, but their last service was so poor that I just don't want to use them again. I've had money missing, money not put back in after not receiving the correct amount at an ATM. Just ridiculous. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015
