Being on hold too long

I called Barclays while in the USA as my card was blocked from using ATM's. The problem is I was on hold for 8 minutes - on the premier line - the normal line I was on hold for 3 minutes? Reviewed on: 12th May 2015

Good standard of employees, knowledgeable and with attention to detail in the Premier Banking Service. Could be a bit more flexible to accomodate customer timetable. Innovative and customer oriented account. Gives lots of extras and freebies. Reviewed on: 29th April 2015

Barclays customer service is second to none, I have been a customer for twenty years through good times and bad and they have been amazing throughout, I would recommend Barclays to anyone wanting great products and service, Infact I'm always spreading the word and telling people to join Barclays! #Bestbankever! My experience of Barclays Premier is that there is absolutely nothing premier about it! In fact they couldn't care less about customer service. Bank somewhere else! Reviewed on: 22nd December 2014

Barclays fraud department has consistently blocked my card whilst I attempted to make legitimate purchases. The last one was £6.45 at Sainsbury's! When I eventually got to speak to someone, following having the pleasure of waiting for 32mins, I was told I would receive no compensation! I reminded the this was twice in 2hours and I had been a customer for over 20years which was of no interest to them whatsoever - my response... Account closed next working day! Replacement Debit Card

Last weekend I misplaced my debit card, I say I lost it, but it was last seen in the hands of my four year old!!! Through my Barclays Mobile APP I was able to report the card lost, cancel it and order a new one in less than a minute. The new card arrived with me within 3 working days. Really easy, really useful, excellent service. Reviewed on: 24th November 2014
