Churchill is money greed

I’ve had my car insurance with Churchill more than two year they keep increasing the price by £234 evan I Ihave not make a single claims or no motoring convictions I’ve got 29 yrs of experience plus 29 yrs no claims bonus they given me 4 yrs discount for the no claims bonus maximum I’m very disappointed their Costomer advisor was very rude! I’ve ask her why is your company keeps increasing the price she replied it’s the underwriter who’s increasing the premium she’s not helpful she just hang up on my call 0 star extremely poor service with no gratitude or Costomer care avoid Churchill money greed!! Worst insurance

Worst insurance I've had. I've been with them for 6 years. 10 days ago my car was wrecked by a van. Churchill does not provide a courtesy car. I need a car to take my daughter to school and go to work. Churchill, based on the photos I sent, states that the car will be written off. The engineers will let me know on July 4, which is a month from now what will happen to my car. Full comprehensive with churchill is a joke. Good value with all the extras

Feel secure with Churchill. They dealt with a car claim I made back in 2014 where the other driver was at fault. I always do price comparisons but for all the extras I want included, I try to stick with Churchill, a brand I trust. Reviewed on: 31st May 2023

WONT BE REWENING MY POLICY WITH THEM

Someone ran into me so had to make a claim was a nightmare sat on hold for 15 minutes, rang back Then got cut off rang again and finally had a choice to get someone to call me back. I had to chase up the hired car and also the Garage that were taking my car for repairs. Nothing but I'll call you back and be put on hold. I have pay as you go mobile and its cost me almost £30 to call all these and be put on hold. Won't be renewing with them Reviewed on: 25th May 2023

DONT GO NEAR THEM.

Would not go near them. A semi-truck hit my car last year, they admitted fault. AXA (the lorrys insurer) admitted fault and paid the claim in full. However, Churchill left the claim open for a further 6 months plus and then when they finally closed it after repeated calls from myself, they closed it as a FAULT claim. Useless, stay well away. £54 cancellation fee on a policy with a premium of £211 p.a.

Cancelling my policy as sold car and quoted £54 cancellation fee on a policy with a premium of £211. Cancelling after 7 months so Churchill don't have the risk of insuring the car for 5 months and still charging £54 for the privilege - disgraceful!!!!! Reviewed on: 25th April 2023

If Churchill does not pay the other side's lawyers by the end of play today, I will end up with a "Satisfied" CCJ which will stick with me for SIX YEARS. I have done nothing wrong. Churchill have been incompetent throughout my entire case. They failed to reach an agreement with the other party They then failed to appoint a solicitor to my case despite writing to me telling me not to worry, they had done so As a result, no one turned up at court to defend my case and so as a direct result I have been hit with a County Court Judgement They then failed to pay the other party within the 28-day time limit (by sending a cheque when it has to be cleared funds) They are impossible to get hold of Because of their negligence and incompetence, they have missed the payment deadline; I will have this CCJ marked as Satisfied, but it will negatively impact my record for 6 years. I've given them one star only because there is no option to give a lower result. Next stop no-win-no-fee lawyers to recoup my losses I guess. Reviewed on: 17th April 2023

Churchill scrapped my car without permission

I have an ongoing claim and car was written off. Churchill gave me a scrap quote and I informed I would get back to them.; I requested a quote if I wanted to retain the car in a later conversation which was sent by email as requested. I received a letter on the 22nd March informing my insurance was suspended on the 16th, when I called they informed they had paid me to retain the car, despite no orders from myself. I explained this was wrong and was told insurance would be reinstated to third party until I had an mot., and I would get a call back. My insurance was not reinstated and I was subsequently stopped by police for no insurance and may get points etc. Currently going through complaints and the first stage as been useless., apparently they only uphold that they should have told me by email they was stealing my car. I appreciate this is probably a rare occurrence but the support and understanding I’ve received from Churchill since they messed up, shows me all I need to know about the company.
