Absolutely dreadful, cancelled my policy due to one missed historical payment. Took the most recent payment so I assumed I was covered. Turns out I wasn’t, 6 points on my driving licence from a random stop. They sent a letter to confirm cancellation. I didn’t get it because I was away for work. No phone call or email to chase, or warn that I would be uncovered. I was driving for two weeks without insurance. Very glad I didn’t have an incident in that time. The customer service were appalling and didn’t care. Wouldn’t reinstate the policy either. Avoid this shower of insurance excrement. Reviewed on: 4th December 2020

Car insurance renewal up 31% with no change of circumstance. Simply wrong!

Car insurance renewal up 31% on last year's premium. Nothing has changed apart from non claims up 1 year from 10 to 11 years. I called Churchill about this but the operative could not explain why. Disgraceful when RPI is 1.19% and many of use have not been driving during lockdown etc. so claims must be down. I thought this practice of heavy renewal uplifts that penalise loyalty had stopped - clearly not. Reviewed on: 18th September 2020

Having only held my licence for a year when I completed a quote with Churchill I was expecting extortionate prices. However, they provided me with a very well priced quote. The process of setting up the policy and speaking to their customer service teams since then has been great. Reviewed on: 11th September 2020

Unprofessional

They took my car for repair front end to Nationwide Repairs which was fine (accident was my/my wife's fault). After getting the car back and hearing some banging noise from the front I opened up the hood and realised the engine mount was broken. I reported to the garage, they instantly booked the car back and collected it for inspection. Later I got a call saying that the estimator guy told them that it is too far at the back and couldn't have happen during the accident (the whole front bumber and crach cans were changed). So obviously wasn't a "small" shock there. We are talking about a 2 years old car and a fresh shiny engine mount brakage. Totally dissapointed and angry. Reviewed on: 27th July 2020
