A couple of years ago the bank contacted me to say they'd spotted fraudulent activity on my current account to the tune of £500. Although I check my account daily, they had spotted the transaction, contacted me and refunded the money to me before I even noticed. Considering the problems people have had with other banks, full marks to the Co-operative for this one. Reviewed on: 18th February 2016

Brilliant customer service and they always make you feel like you matter to them

Every time I go into my branch, the staff are always helpful, if it looks like I have to wait, they invite me to have a hot or cold drink, if I don't understand anything that is said, the staff are always happy to take the time to explain everything.
