Darlington asking for the Inns and Outs of a fart

When my wife and I applied for a mortgage via a mortgage broker, Darlington took a long time to make a descision to lend. They were quibbling over a £50 catalogue account that they wanted to be cleared before they would lend. ( Andwe have a joint income of over £100k) We had to remortgage with Darlington a second time , only because our solcitor forgot to register our New Build House in our names by the time the 2 year fixed rate expired.
