Being a member of a Society not just a client

Darlington Building Society staff have always treated me very much as a person rather than primarily as a source of income. During the mortgage application procedure, their advisor made sure I had the product that was exactly right for my family and our circumstances. Now, we are nearly 5 years into our financial relationship and I have always appreciated the human person-centred approach that the society's staff have shown whenever I have had need to contact them.
