Great building society for first time buyers!!

We were first time buyers and got our mortgage the DBS and they sent everything across and all communication was clear and really helpful to us as first time buyers. Plus the product fee wasn’t as ridiculous as some of those bigger banks! Reviewed on: 7th April 2025

Mortgage

Looking at mortgage product needed to purchase my flat, the best option for me was Darlington Building society. A really good website and portal. Very happy with the service provided to date. I would recommend Dalington to family and friends. Reviewed on: 19th April 2025

It's ok .But staff need to learn politeness& C Service.

It's ok . Regularly get updates which is good . Spoke over the phone 2 times didn't find them polite. My mortgage ws/is 6.89 % which ridiculous but at the time interest was rising by Bank of England every other week Reviewed on: 17th April 2025

Great Service, great people

Darlington Building Society were one of the very few companies offering mortgages to the over 65 age group when we got our mortgage from them 9 year’s ago. They have looked after us well since then and will stay with them until mortgage free in a few years time. Customer service personnel are so helpful. Reviewed on: 17th April 2025
