First direct keep me informed without bombarding me relentlessly with emails and texts. They inform of product offerings, statements and interest rate changes in periodic and timely fashion. The Original Branch Free Bank

I moved to First Direct when they first opened as Telephone Banking long before Internet Banking which they embraced wholeheartedly later. I chose them because they did not waste money maintaining and staffing branches - if they looked after their own money I could trust them to look after mine. Experience has proved that they have the best customer service at the end of a phone which is always answered quickly and they offer a high interest regular saver to customers of their 1st account.
