Good Bank to have an account with

Halifax is a good bank to have an account opened. Great app with finger print security and easy navigation. Monthly rewards are also awesome without any banking fee. More options of offers from different merchandise across UK. More number of Banking branches in Manchester is eases the customer needs. New initiatives in banking applications are good suck as open banking. Details of pending transactions provides clear view of your upcoming inflow and outflow. Detailed statements are good. Overdraft facility and the fee are well described for each pounds with clear explanation. Customer service is great Paper statements are on time. Fraud checks are good as HSBC. Providing good support for the customer in the branch. Easy withdrawal and cash deposits in the branch. Overall I recommend Halifax as a good bank to bank with. Reviewed on: 7th December 2018

Poor customer services

Unfortunately Halifax do not adequately invest in maintenance of their ATM machines. Consequently many machines are faulty and swallow your card. When combined with branch opening hours that are shorter than they were in the 1950s and hopeless customer services you have to question why anyone would want to hold their current account with this dinosaur of a bank.
