I have been a Halifax user since opening my first account. I now have an ISA, credit card & savings accounts for my children with them as they have always offered great service & great rates. Recently they have updated their app for easier use & have instant notifications for spending etc. I have upgraded my current account to receive rewards & also get cash back offers so overall am happy with the service I receive & will be a lifelong Halifax member. Very rude aggressive customer service

Spoke to customer service this morning regarding suspicious activity on my account, very rude and unprofessional and uninterested, I didn’t get the help I needed because she actually put the phone down on me. I was so upset and stressed out I couldn’t sleep after doing a night shift, I was so annoyed at the rude attitude and the way I was spoken to. I am closing my account today and going elsewhere. I don’t expect to be treated this way. She was so aggressive in her tone and manner. What sort of behaviour is that!! Reviewed on: 30th March 2025
