Closing interest on bond paid by cheque!

I had a fixed rate bond which matured and I reinvested the capital into a new bond. Despite the fact that you pay the annual interest direct to my bank current account you only pay the closing interest by cheque. How old fashioned and inconvenient! Reviewed on: 10th October 2025
