Very helpful staff who go out of their way to help you (Kendal branch).

I travel a lot for work and I've often run into problems that HSBC has helped me out with. I once had my debit card stolen and it was difficult to get a replacement while I was abroad. However, the helpful staff at Kendal branch enabled me to get a new card promptly, and they also suggested making my mother a signatory to my account so that she can authorise such processes in the future should a similar situation arise. HSBC Premier current account

It is okay--but not easy to open. customer care is not easy to get a response to--if one sends a secure message the response if often--phone in. The card costs more to use overseas than digital only banks. Reviewed on: 16th March 2023

Not very user friendly

I have banked with HSBC for decades. It is extremely difficult to speak to customer services. The chat is very limited in topics and even after requesting a call back it didn't happen. Reviewed on: 16th March 2023

Inefficient bank

HSBC are inefficient in every aspect, I've maintained an account as its a graduate account with free overdraft. Phone broke and trying to sort on new one was an absolute nightmare, calling them you wait for hours too! Rubbish! Reviewed on: 16th March 2023
