Takes too long, no clear communication when opening business account

You would be required to attend a branch in order to open a business account, takes too long. I wanted to also open an EUR account but was told after taking a month to open the business account that I have to make another appointment to open foreign currency account and waiting times where I live are 4 weeks. So all in all it looks like it would take nearly 3 months to open an account with GBP/EUR, totally unacceptable when I found a disrupter bank that can do it in less than a day. USeless company takes forever to set up a business account. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Hopeless. Lost documents, still waiting six weeks later to set up business account, despite already having a separate account with them. Essential codes they send through the post take forever, or don't come, took a passport into a branch for photocopying but they lost it. People on phone fill in forms, even a complaint form takes up to five working days to get a response to. Don't bother. Reviewed on: 3rd September 2019

Lost the plot

Have a business account with them for years. I am now shopping for next company as they have absolutely lost the plot. Last week I lost access to my money because 'I hadn't completed a questionnaire they sent me' - which I never received or new anything about. The discussions have moved to the financial ombudsman. If you don't want the layers involved, don't get involved with their business banking. Reviewed on: 27th May 2019

BUSINESS BANKING do not go there!! Awful and ongoing negative experience.

From start to finish the setting up of the business bank and ongoing internet banking issues have been frustrating to say the least. I have complained 3 times to date and the service just plods on. Internet banking is a nightmare and fraught with IT issues, the latest being not use of the fob to set up standing orders for the past week. (informed by tel banking staff). Informed that I am not set up for telephone banking so need to go into my nearest branch to set up 4 standing orders............ in this day and age , really???? So I have had to fill a form in for telephone banking and wait for this powers that be to process this. BTW it took over 3 weeks to set up the business account, again in this day and age , really???? Awful experience! Would change banks but really cannot face the same issues elsewere. Reviewed on: 12th April 2019

Quick setup and all encompassing
