Been with the Building society for over 60 years.

Been with the Building society since it was Leeds and Holbeck and I was a very young child (over 60 years). Always found them very professional and personable. I had recently lost my mother who had been caring for the past 10 years. I had opened a Savings account in order to receive my small inheritance from the sale of her house,which was being divided 5 ways between my siblings. I was very distressed during this time and staff showed me care and compassion by dealing with me sympathetically when I was very emotional, and took the time to listen and was a shoulder to cry on literally, providing me with a private room in which to sit. I couldn't have got through the difficult weeks of bereavement without the support from your wonderful and caring staff!! I cannot thank them enough! Reviewed on: 23rd January 2024

Put money into an isa for a one year fix. On maturity I wanted my money transferred to another company. Everything was set up to have money transfered with the new company. Leeds bs then sent everything to my current account blaming the new company for not informing them which is total rubbish. Investigation is on going. Don't deal with these cowboys! Reliable For 25 years

FEELING REALLY BULLIED BY LEEDS BS

After a review on Trustpilot revealing Leeds BS instant access savings rate was 1.9% and between 2 and 3 times that available elsewhere; Also that Martin Lewis stated if getting less than 4% "ditch and switch", Leeds have demanded review be taken down! Clearly bothered at people being given this information! I've been with Leeds BS for nearly 30 years and feel that, rather than being treated as a loyal customer, I've lost out substantially on interest and now feel they are trying strong arm tactics versus an OAP to hide their awful approach to loyal customers/long term members.
