Put a false claim on my record, doubled the price of my premium. Then said they would withdraw the claim but haven't and sank my new insurance policy with a different compny. Scammers. Avoid at all costs!! Reviewed on: 25th March 2024

Never use Marshmallow

I was more or less forced to use them when moving from Somerset to Buckinghamshire. The entire experience was fraught & expensive. They have no proper staff & their app is irritating in the extreme. It was an interim insurance, & I would have been penalised had I changed insurer within the first year. As it was I paid monthly at double what I was paying in Somerset. I moved to Cumbria in July 2024 & my year is up at the end of February. I have renewed at 64% less... Reviewed on: 13th February 2025

I’ve been with Marshmallow Insurance for over 3 years, never made a claim, and always kept my MOT up to date. However, after I was involved in a car accident, they completely failed me. After reporting the accident, it took them 15 days to provide me with an engineer’s report, and when I asked for the full report to understand what happened, they refused to give it to me. Your life is in danger with Marshmallow

People DO NOT GO FOR MARSHMALLOW. They will offer you cheap insurance to hunt you when you are vulnerable the most. But it will cost you more in the future. My partner was at the accident, nearly died at the accident place. Marshmallow set up us at fault even third party waited a fault confirmation statement. This company is a scam.

I had an accident on 23rd Nov 2024. Made a claim on the same day, today its 5th Jan 2025. and my car is still in my driveway in the same shape it was. It is an absolute joke trying to contact them, live chat, email, everything. legitimate scammers.

legitimate scammers. Avoid at any cost. They are quoting me £440 cheaper online, however upon renewal they are charging me £2 more than existing price, with £25 admission fee. I have advised them with this info and they were not willing to help. Please note that I've worked with Marshmallow because of those online comparison websites, and they're telling me that they do not always keep the right info, if that is the case, are you insuring everyone with incorrect information on ... Scam- be aware!

Scam- be aware! It is an awful organisation. I reported my accident claim on the day of my accident (23/11/2024); I have not heard from this organisation since, and now I have found out they did not even log it !!!!!! They provide their customers with a telephone number; however, if you call it, you CAN NOT get to speak to anyone; you are directed to "live chat".
