Metro Bank is the top bank for me. I opened a current account with them and It was so easy, I got my card on the same day and my online banking set up! Reviewed on: 15th April 2021

Polite and helpful staff

Since joing the Metro Bank last year we have found all the staff are polite, greeting all customers as they enter the bank. We have had fast and efficient service with all of the staff we have interacted with. The online banking app is easy to use and helps us keep track of our finances. Reviewed on: 15th April 2021

Pretty good but no open banking

I've been with metrobank for quite a few years now and found their service to be excellent. I'm considering leaving simply because they don't provide open banking links to other software like Xero or Sage despite promise to do so. Reviewed on: 15th April 2021

They blocked my card again

They blocked my card again , knowing already that I'm in Italy since the last coincidențe wich it was the same. Instead of they to call me and to ask me about the suspicious activity they was wondering on my card , they simply send me a text message to call them. When I didn't call them ,they blocked my card . And then I was forced again to call them from an Italian number , spending from my own credit (becouse I don't have international minutes) and I've spent nearly 1 hour , being transferred from one to another trying to solve the problems they created to me . Down-to-earth banking

General experience: At last a bank that does not leave me thinking of will cost ther £50 just to talk to them. When I was 24 years old the Midland Bank sent me a letter to say my account was £7 overdrawn...... And charged me for the letter. Reviewed on: 15th April 2021
