I used to always feel like so many extra steps to transfer money and adding new payee coming from an internet bank like Monzo. But when I heard that accounts are freezing and money is being lost because of no extra steps then I realised those extra steps really worth it. When I went for shopping I was on a shopping spree then they suspended my account for a while until they get a confirmation from me. At first I was so annoyed with that but later got to know it is a privacy measure of the bank then I felt the bank is thinking about me as a well wisher. My first memory of metro bank was opened my account, I was a Uni student with more problems than money, but the staff member opening my account talked me through the process and made me feel welcome, making me a coffee and made the process actually enjoyable.(regardless of my ability to take a photogenic profile photo) my second memory of using metro bank was a year of so later when I entered my local branch in nothing short of a Bureaucratic rage, fully educed by another bank that rhymes with HSmeSee . Again your staff member sensed my disgruntled demeanor and enabled me to take swift corporate retribution by transferring all of my money over to metro bank, without me having to lift a finger and again while I drank a lovely cup of coffee. My third memory of metro bank comes in the form of me racing to your branch after work " as you are the only bank that is open during USEFUL hours of the day." On this occasion I was in need of help with printing statements for my tax return and exchanging all of my spare change into useful denominations. Somehow that became a pleasant experience and not only did I leave in a better mood than when I arrived, I had also finished the day with a lovely coffee. Amazing Bank, Efficient, Professional, Personable

I have banked with Metro for almost seven years, and in that that, I have found them to be highly efficient, professional, personable and helpful in all my dealings. At the time, I switched from one of the major high street banks who were lacking in their customer service. With Metro Bank, I feel that anything is possible, there are never any hurdles in getting anything done and there is alway someone on hand to help. Reviewed on: 21st March 2021

Great Customer Service!

I've been part of the Metro Bank family for nearly 8 years and my experience has been excellent; whether in-store, online or over the phone. I rarely have to wait for someone to speak to someone, issues are resolved very quickly, bank cards can be printed almost instantly in-store. I would recommend Metro to anyone, and often do!
