I was looking to open up a separate bank account from my main bank, and came across Monzo. I am very happy I did as it provides me with all of my banking needs, and has benefits such as cash back with certain retailers. It was quick and easy to set up a bank account online, within 15 minutes it was completed. Reviewed on: 16th June 2024

Not Crypto friendly in the slightest.

Not Crypto friendly in the slightest. I would give zero as a rating if that was an option. Deposited a small sum in a new monzo account and as soon as I tried to send it to a cryto exchange, the company have frozen my account whilst 'specialists' look at it and have requested various info. If I'd tried to put it onto a gambling site, they would have allowed me. No interest in their customers wellbeing, just want to stop UK customers moving to crypto assets as it impacts their bottom line. Terrible customer service on chat, waiting for hours a a time for a response. Avoid at all costs. Reviewed on: 9th June 2024

Love this app.

Love this app. Really helped me get on top of my money and budgeting. Forever in the black due to the simplicity of use. Ability to set money aside in pots and to squirrel the odd pennies into a savings pot is brilliant. Gives perfect resonance to the saying about pennies adding into a pound.
