Love it !! Wouldn't use anything else!!

A great app and very easy to use, much more options to save etc than other banks. I like the cha ching notification when money is taken from my account as it alerts me if it's a deduction I was not expecting. This did happen once and I was able to block my account in seconds to prevent anymore money being taken out. It was £800 + in different rapid transactions so my notifications was going mad I was able to get the money back thankfully. If the notifications weren't in place I'm sure the scammers would have cleared my account. Customer service is great on the chat facility too. It's easy to set up a new payee, make a payment and use in the shops. You can also add your account to Googlepay. If you are expecting regular payments in the app also gives you the option of receiving payment the day before. All in all I can't fault Monzo at all. I used it initially to buy things on line, so that I could add the money to my account to cover the payment without giving away my main account details, but since using it for a while now, I have started to use it as my main account because of its ease of use. No card readers required!! Trying to set up a new payee for just one payment is such a lengthy ordeal with banks and building societies, having to use card readers, which if you don't use regularly get lost or run out of battery. None of this messing about with Monzo, it's done in less than a minute, and Monzo does check that the name and account is correct before making the payment. Hats of to Monzo !!!
