A Refreshing Approach to Banking with Monzo

As a modern, tech-savvy individual, I've been continually impressed with Monzo Bank's innovative approach to banking. Their user-friendly app is a standout, offering intuitive navigation and a wealth of features that make managing finances not just easier, but actually enjoyable. Reviewed on: 16th January 2024

Terrible experience with Monzo.

Terrible experience with Monzo. They were great in the beginning and they are good if you just put your money in and spend but if you have any issues or problems it's so difficult to sort out. I spoke to Monzo about setting up a payment plan on my overdraft, they made a mistake (reducing my limit by £130 instead of £30). It took them over 2 months to get back to me (after sending the same robotic message every time i reached out) and they apologised and offered me compensation end of November. As of 16th January I haven't received the compensation OR had any updates. Other than this I've had no issues but be aware it's hard to get a hold of anyone and they can take very long to resolve problems. Good for organising money into pots but Starling offers this and has better customer service! Starling helped me so quickly and nicely when card got stolen and customer service is much more human! If I didn't have a bank account now, I'd get Monzo.

I've used Monzo for years now and I simply wouldn't consider any alternatives. For access and visibility they are great. They are always the first to introduce features which the industry later commoditises. Reviewed on: 16th January 2024

I switched to monzo after having a dormant account for a couple of years, i previously used Monzo when it was pre-paid and then coverted to a current account - but didn't really use it. Monzo since the beginning
