A solid caretaker of our finances

I've been with Nationwide for more than 30 years. I have limited experience with Other Building Societies and Banks, but Nationwide have always been up front and transparent about charges & changes, and their services are straightforward to navigate. We also have our home insurance with them, which is very reasonable, and so simple to set up. No hassles with Nationwide. Reviewed on: 21st November 2019

Good service but interest rate drops after a year

A product that works, backed by a company that cares about its customers

The Nationwide Flex account provides most of what one expects from a bank account, with on-line banking that actually works. When there are glitches, staff respond promptly to emails and secure messages and resolve problems in a helpful and generous manner. This is a good product, backed by a powerful and well-run organisation. Reviewed on: 11th November 2019

Disgraceful and utterly useless.

Having banked with the Nationwide for 20 odd years, I'd rather give my money to a stranger to look after. Whatever problem you have, usually thier fault, they simply will not help. Either thier internal training mandates they refuse to help, or sociopaths work there for the sheer joy of draining all hope out of thier customers. Avoid these grubby, deceitful crooks at all cost.
