Easy to use, with clear regular statements

Flexaccount is easy to use and takes care of your daytoday finance. Bill payments and standing orders are easy to set up. If you like to discuss yr business with A PERSON there are high street branches which offer a friendly and helpful service Reviewed on: 10th August 2015

Excellent customer service

I've been a customer of nationwide for about 15 years with a basic account then upgraded to this flex account. I've had no problems, can access my money in plenty of ways, use mobile and Internet banking then there's a brilliant app which I have on my phone and tablet. Staff in the branch are helpful and friendly and go out of their way to help. Highly recommended Reviewed on: 9th August 2015

I NEEDED TO CHANGE DETAILS AND SET UP PAYMENTS ON THE ACCOUNT WAS HAVING TROUBLE ONLINE DUE TO MY INTERNET SIGNAL PHONED THEM UP TO SORT IT OVER THE PHONE AND IT WAS DONE VERY SIMPLY AND SWIFTLY MAKING SURE THEY FIRST SPOKE TO THE PERSON IN CHARGE OF THE ACCOUNT SO THAT IT WAS NOT A FRAUD ACT BY SOMEONE ELSE WHICH IS REASSURING. Praise where praise is due...Nationwide have never let me down in 12 years as a FlexAccount customer. Their online banking is excellent, reliable and user friendly. All branch and phone contact has also been to a high standard. They make the customer feel valued. Reviewed on: 29th April 2015

i had to get this account becasue it was the only way my emolyer would pay me. i was unsure about the set up but after some in depth explaining it was all very clear to me about how to use internet banking and etc. i was given the choice of cards depending on what i wanted to due which i found very helpful overall. i would reconmend this product to anyone who is considering getting an account. with this card i recieved a card which gave me and a friend 25% off all vue cinemas for a year (which is a bonus). this card also has contactless payment system for upto 20 pounds. now go forth and experience a great debit card Reviewed on: 29th April 2015

Very positive and very easy to talk with staff.

Nationwide have been offering a 5% interest rate for new customers and this attracted me to join. Now the year has ended the rate has gone down to 0.5%, so I have left. However, in terms of service this bank was very good, it was only the rates that made leave not the service. Reviewed on: 28th April 2015

Overall a good banking option with some excellent elements and some poor ones.

In general, Nationwide Flex is a good banking option. On the positive side, they offer 24 hour assistance via social media. On the negative side, they have ridiculous charges when requesting a cheque. Reviewed on: 28th April 2015
