Best account experience I've ever had

I couldn't say best bank because they are a building society so even better! I've tried most banks and I have stayed with Nationwide the longest of any. The app is easy to use, lots of branches and great customer service. Reviewed on: 29th March 2021

Abhorent horrible building society

Every process is inconvenient Every process is capped or limited Customer service line is inaccessible Customer service isn't joined up Ask for card and pin, only receive card, no pin, have to call back Online banking is clunky Low transfer limits.... Once the leader, now nothing but annoying adds

Long time customer which once had numerous accounts. Nationwide is now dead in the water and only interested in rewarding new customers and not keeping old....good luck to them, I feel they'll need it especially with the cost of those terribly annoying constant adds! Reviewed on: 11th March 2021

I loveeee nationwide, how easy it is to amend address details on the telephone, the agents on the phone are always so lovely! And the app and website is so easy to use and it is secure. False reassurance

I was advised across three channels, online, telephone and in branch in person that if my husband was added to my account as a new customer we would receive a 5% rate for 12 months from account opening. I just received out a letter telling me very differently, I'm not happy! Reviewed on: 9th July 2020
