Not paid £200 switch bonus.

The bank account that won't let you send money

Never wanted to go back to this bank but wanted the £200 switch. Have to use a card reader every single time I try to pay anyone (even if I've paid them before) which is completely impractical. Rang nationwide, they won't help, and still haven't even sent me a card reader yet and it's been weeks. They won't even transfer the amounts I want over the phone when I call up. So I literally can't even send anyone money. Which is the main thing you need a bank account for... person I just off the phone to had no solution for me. I can't wait to change banks back again, only just changed and already having terrible experiences. Now stuck unable to pay rent and one very angry landlord. Cheers nationwide! Worst bank I have every come across.

Weeks ago a member of their staff cancelled our debit cards by mistake. THEIR MISTAKE. Eventually, they sent the replacements but they didn't turn up, so they have now ordered some more replacement cards. This has been going on for weeks and all the time we have no access to a cashpoint, we can't buy anything from a shop or anything online. Do they care? They say they are sorry but do nothing. AVOID.
